About Lucy
I am currently an undergraduate history student at Bristol University with previous experience including working in a secondary school giving one-to-one help to students aged 11-18 in History or English-related work. This includes help on essay structure or understanding content especially for students taking their GCSE's or A levels. I achieved an A* in GCSE History and English lit/lang and have been awarded an A in History A level alongside an A in Sociology and a B in English Literature.

I approach teaching aiming to target the areas that the student finds are their weaknesses and tackling those, looking at structure, grammar or content specifics. Each lesson will begin by a quick overview as to what is being studied and what the student needs help on so that the teaching time is most beneficial and relevant to them. I also provide revision tactics and resources available to them depending on what is being covered (time period or text being studied).
