About Dhyani
Having achieved A* grades in History at both GCSE and A-Level, I understand first-hand the skills, knowledge, and exam techniques required to achieve top grades. As a History undergraduate with a genuine passion for the subject, I enjoy helping students develop both their confidence and academic ability.
My lessons are tailored to each student's individual needs and learning style, focusing on strengthening subject knowledge, improving essay-writing skills, and mastering exam technique. Whether a student is aiming to boost their confidence, improve their grades, or achieve the highest marks, I provide structured and personalised support to help them reach their goals.
I strive to create a positive, supportive, and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, exploring ideas, and challenging themselves. Through clear explanations, constructive feedback, and targeted practice, I help students develop a deeper understanding of History while building the confidence needed to succeed in examinations and beyond.

Having achieved A* grades in History at both GCSE and A-Level, I have a strong understanding of the skills and techniques needed to succeed in exams. My lessons are tailored to each student's individual needs by working to their strengths and adapting to their preferred learning style and building on their strengths. Whether a student is aiming to improve their confidence, through strengthening subject knowledge and mastering exam technique by developing their essay-writing skills and source analysis, my goal is to help them achieve their full potential in order to achieve the highest grades.
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes and combines clear explanations, guided practice, discussion, and exam-focused activities, such as writing essays. I usually begin with a five-minute recap of the previous lesson to reinforce key concepts and the final ten minutes are dedicated to reviewing and consolidating the new material covered during the session, making use of spaced repetition techniques that are proven to improve long-term memory and understanding.
Lessons are interactive and structured, with regular opportunities for students to ask questions and receive personalised feedback. I place particular emphasis on essay-writing skills and provide detailed feedback on written work and clear, actionable targets for improvement.
My recent success in the subject allows me to offer up-to-date advice on revision strategies and effective exam techniques. I teach for, GCSE WJEC Eduqas for students studying Elizabeth, Medicine through Time, Development of Germany (1919-1991) and USA (1910-1929) and A-Level AQA History students studying British Empire and American Dream.
