About Ana
I AM: A Canadian native Spanish speaker based in London, passionate about languages, travel, and cultural exchange. I’ve lived in France and the Netherlands, where I immersed myself in new environments and learned to speak French fluently. Having experienced the challenges of learning a new language myself, I understand how it feels—and I bring that empathy and patience to my teaching. I WANT TO TEACH Spanish because I love helping others build confidence and enjoy the learning process. It's so rewarding to see students go from simple phrases to full conversations. As a native Spanish speaker, my approach to tutoring is warm, flexible, and student-focused. I believe that learning a language should be enjoyable and adapted to each person’s needs, goals, and learning style. I combine structured grammar and vocabulary practice with plenty of real-life conversation. My teaching style is interactive and practical—I use role-plays, visual aids, games, and cultural topics to keep lessons engaging and relevant. Whether you prefer a relaxed pace or a more intensive approach, I’ll tailor our sessions accordingly. Lessons typically last one hour, but I’m happy to adjust the length based on your schedule and focus areas. Each session includes review, new material, and time to practise through speaking and exercises. While I’m new to professional tutoring, I have experience helping peers and younger students improve their Spanish through informal lessons and language exchange. I’m bilingual in English and Spanish, which allows me to explain tricky concepts clearly and support learners at any stage. My lessons are great for: *Beginners to intermediate learners GCSE or A-level Spanish students Adults learning for travel, work, or fun Anyone looking to build confidence in speaking I aim to create a comfortable space where you can ask questions, make mistakes, and truly enjoy learning.
