About Tamara
Hola! As I already stated, my name is Tamara, and I am originally from Spain. I've been teaching Spanish to individuals of all ages since I began college in Madrid. I like meeting new people and sharing my culture with others, which includes making suggestions on books, TV series, and music, as well as recommending hidden treasures in my country for my students to explore. As an immigrant, I understand that learning a language is not an easy trip; nevertheless, the result is always rewarding!
Some fascinating facts about it include: I've lived in two countries and five different places, and I have two dogs named after two prominent characters from a popular video game. When I am not traveling, I enjoy watching anime, listening to indie and rock music, attending concerts, and reading period drama novels. If you have any recommendations, I'd be pleased to jot them down, and in exchange, I can deliver entertaining Spanish shows and popular Spanish music.

As an immigrant, I understand how difficult it can be to learn a language. With being stated, while vocabulary and grammar are vital, it is a practice that leads to mastering a language. I want to keep my courses exciting and tailored to the student and his/her/their goals. Most of my sessions begin with a combination of grammar and vocabulary, followed by sentence construction to let the student engage in everyday conversation. Furthermore, I feel that speaking is just as essential as vocabulary and verb development, therefore I divide my classes 50/50 between reading and grammar and listening and speaking.
