About Tineke

Hello and welcome!

I’m a qualified teacher with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and more than 20 years of experience in education. Throughout my career, I have taught students of different ages, abilities and learning needs, giving me a strong understanding of how to make learning effective, engaging and enjoyable.

My approach to teaching English is relaxed, patient and personalised. I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable and confident, so I create a supportive environment where you can practise English, ask questions and learn from mistakes without feeling embarrassed or pressured.

Whether your goal is to improve your conversation skills, communicate confidently at work, prepare for school, improve your writing, or simply become more comfortable speaking English, I will adapt the lessons to your individual needs.

I teach English in English, and lessons are suitable for children, teenagers and adults, from beginners to more advanced learners.

Most importantly, I want my students to feel that every lesson is worthwhile. We will focus on practical English that you can actually use in everyday life, education and the workplace.

About the lesson

I believe learning English should be practical, engaging and enjoyable. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and more than 20 years of teaching experience, I use a student-centred approach that adapts each lesson to the learner’s individual needs, goals and level.

My teaching style is relaxed, patient and encouraging, while still focused on achieving measurable progress. I create a comfortable environment where students feel confident making mistakes, asking questions and practising their English without feeling pressured.

What to Expect From a Lesson

A typical lesson is interactive and focused on practical communication. We will identify your goals, work on the areas where you need the most improvement, and use real-life conversations, exercises and examples to develop your skills.

I encourage students to speak as much as possible, because confidence comes through practice. I provide constructive feedback throughout the lesson and explain mistakes in a clear and easy-to-understand way.

Who Are My Lessons For?

My lessons are suitable for children, teenagers and adults, from complete beginners to more advanced English learners. I can adapt my teaching style and lesson content to suit different learning abilities, including students who need additional patience, structure or personalised support.

I am proficient in English and teach my lessons in English.
