About Amber
Creative and enthusiastic individual with a passion for teaching others, whether it be at an academic level or teaching functional living skills.
Experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in various settings.
I have helped others learn skills related to daily living, independence, job and interview preparation, job maintenance, social skills, etc. I have experience teaching both in person and virtually. I also have extensive experience working with individuals with disabilities.
I strongly believe it is important to meet others where they are at, using a strengths based approach, and pivoting when I need to pivot to best support those I’m teaching.
And lastly, I have a 4-year-old daughter so I can truly appreciate the value of creativity and exploration.

My lessons are collaborative in nature and while they might involve a lecture component, I want the majority of the lesson to feel like a conversation followed by opportunities to apply your knowledge/ skills.
