About Nicole
Hello! I’m a passionate and dedicated English educator with a Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English, graduating **Summa Cum Laude**. With **two years of experience as an ESL teacher**, I have worked with learners from different backgrounds and learning levels, helping them develop their English skills and become more confident communicators.
As an educator, I believe that learning should be both meaningful and enjoyable. I am committed to creating a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and improving at their own pace. At the same time, I maintain high standards for accuracy because I believe that strong foundations are essential for long-term learning.

My approach to tutoring is structured, supportive, and focused on accuracy. I can be a little strict when it comes to details, but this comes from my genuine concern for my students’ learning and understanding. I believe that developing good habits, using correct information, and understanding concepts thoroughly are more important than simply getting an answer.
**Teaching Method and Techniques**
I use a combination of clear explanations, guided discussions, examples, practice exercises, and real-life applications. I adjust my teaching style according to each student’s learning pace, level, and needs. Rather than simply giving answers, I encourage students to understand the reasoning behind them so they can eventually solve problems and apply concepts independently.
**Typical Lesson Plan**
A typical lesson begins with a short review of previous topics, followed by an introduction to the new concept. I then explain the lesson step-by-step, provide examples, and guide the student through practice activities. I ask questions throughout the lesson to check understanding and encourage active participation. At the end, we review the key points and identify areas that may need further practice.

What sets me apart is my attention to accuracy and my commitment to making sure students genuinely understand what they are learning. I do not believe in memorizing information without understanding it. While I maintain high standards, I also aim to create an environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and improving.

My lessons are open to **all students**, regardless of their academic level or learning pace. I believe every student can learn when provided with the right guidance and approach. I adapt my lessons to each learner’s goals, strengths, challenges, and specific needs, whether they need additional academic support, want to strengthen their foundation, or simply want to deepen their understanding of a subject.
