About Holly
I am a qualified Science Teacher with a passion for helping students build confidence, develop their understanding, and achieve their academic goals. I hold an undergraduate degree from Imperial College London and a Master’s degree from the University of London, alongside two years of classroom teaching experience.
In addition to my teaching experience, I have completed over 500 hours of tutoring through another tutoring platform, working with students of a range of abilities and helping them make progress.
My approach to tutoring is personalised and focused on results. I work closely with each student to identify their strengths and areas for improvement, before developing a plan to address any gaps in knowledge and maximise their marks. I aim to make science engaging and accessible, while also helping students develop the exam technique they need to succeed.
Most importantly, I genuinely enjoy seeing students make progress and reach goals that they may not have thought were possible. Whether you are looking to improve your understanding, prepare for exams, or push towards the highest possible grades, I will work with you to help you get there.

As a qualified teacher, I am able to adapt my lessons to suit each student’s individual ability and learning needs. I meet students at their current level and tailor lessons to help them build confidence, improve their understanding, and ultimately achieve their goals.
Lessons can be 1–2 hours long, depending on the student’s needs. For GCSE students, I place a strong emphasis on exam technique, as knowing the content is only one part of achieving a good grade. I often structure lessons into two parts: the first half focuses on teaching and consolidating the key content, while the second half focuses on applying that knowledge through exam style questions.
