About Ishmeet
Hi there! I'm Ishmeet :) I've been tutoring and teaching for 10+ years, and just decided I wanted to hop onto a platform like Superprof to gain some more visibility.
I graduated SJSU with a BS in Management Information Systems in 2020 and have been working ever since. My jobs have mostly been in the domain of consulting or product management. Now, I'm applying to grad school to get my MBA.
On the side, I'm a part-time photographer with my own business. I've always been a pretty artistic person, but I finally gained the courage to start posting my work on Instagram last year, and it's been a really fun project for me to work on!

- I've been a volunteer teacher at a cultural school for 10+ years, and been a private tutor for about 5 years, so I've been super accustomed to kids, and think what sets me apart is that I can get along with them all :)
- I typically like to let the student lead the lesson and I prompt with a few questions: (1) How's school going? (2) How are your homework vs. test grades looking? (3) Are there any specific things you are learning about that you don't understand? (4) Homework help?
- My lesson plans are catered to the student. As I continue more lessons with him/her, I'll be able to go into sessions with even more direction so we can get to exactly what is bothering the student.
