About

I’m currently studying Honors Biology at the University of Ottawa with the goal of attending medical school and eventually becoming a forensic pathologist. My passion for biology began in high school, when I started discovering just how interesting science could be and how many career paths it could open up.

I understand that high school can be an important time for students to discover their interests and start working toward their future goals. I also know firsthand that struggling with a class does not mean you aren’t capable of succeeding. I’ve had courses where I needed additional help myself, and although asking for help was difficult, it made a huge difference in my understanding and confidence.

That experience is one of the reasons I want to tutor. I don’t want a difficult class or one challenging concept to stand in the way of a student pursuing something they’re passionate about. My goal is to provide a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, working through difficulties, and building the confidence they need to succeed.

About the lesson

I’m an Honours Biology student at the University of Ottawa with a strong passion for biology and chemistry. Since these subjects are so closely connected, I enjoy helping students understand how concepts relate to each other rather than simply memorizing information.

My lessons are personalized to each student’s needs. We’ll start by identifying areas they find difficult, review the key concepts together, and then work through practice questions to make sure the material is understood. I encourage students to ask questions and explain their reasoning, because I believe that truly understanding a concept makes studying much easier.

Lessons are designed for high school students taking biology, chemistry, or related science courses. Whether you’re struggling with a specific unit, preparing for a test, or simply want to feel more confident in science, I’ll adapt each lesson to your goals and learning style.
