About Sean
I began peripatetically teaching guitar whilst in my final year at the Academy of Music and Sound in Exeter. Since graduating in September 2016 with a 2:1 degree classification I have started to grow my tuition in to a full-time practice. I have an extensive educational background which has lead me to hold a BTEC Level 2 & 3 in music performance and a BA (Hons) degree in performance industries. Alongside my studies over the last 5 years I have actively written, performed and recorded with various original bands as both a guitar player and a vocalist.
Since having my first guitar lesson at the age of 11 I have studied and performed many different aspects of electric and acoustic guitar playing and can teach a wide range of musical genres. My particular specialist styles are mainly focused around popular/rock music and the vast array of surrounding sub-genres.
I am currently working peripatetically across primary schools in Devon, however I do also offer tuition from my home in central Exeter as well as mobile and Skype lessons within which all ages and abilities are encouraged.
BA (Hons) qualified, DBS certified (enhanced certificate) and safeguarding trained.

Each one of my lessons is 100% tailored to the individuals requirements and I pride myself on my ability to create an atmosphere which is exciting, comfortable and productive. Whether students wish to strum-along to their favourite songs as a hobby or work their way through grades 1-8 my lessons can cater for most needs.
