About Oliver
Hi! I am a third-year statistics student, I love all things numbers and always have. I was accelerated at math from a young age and not only am I aspiring to have a career in math, I want to put my special skills to good use and inspire students to improve and succeed. I have been online tutoring for a while and use an iPad with Apple Pencil to show working, so online lessons mimic face-to-face ones very closely, yet allowing for greater convenience for you! Outside of my studies and tutoring, I love playing and watching football, especially the Premier League, and have a passion for playing the piano.

3+ years experience in maths tutoring, I have been tutoring consistently since I completed the HSC (accelerated, year 9) so am very familiar with the curriculum (specifically Year 11 + 12). I have the most experience in Advanced and Extension 1. I am also experienced in tutoring HSC Chemistry.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes or 90 minutes, depending on how you learn best or the volume of content to cover. I enjoy breaking down the fundamentals of concepts, teaching ideas from the ground up for those who are struggling with certain topics, and am a huge believer in past papers, especially challenging students with the final questions (e.g. Q14 in Ext 1 HSC exams) in papers to prepare them to ace the most difficult selection of exam problems.
