About Martha
Hello, my name is Martha and I'm an anthropology student at the University of Bristol.
I have a strong passion for the humanities subjects, having studied history and philosophy at A Level and have taken this love of learning further through my anthropology degree. I have great experience with exam technique and essay writing skills which are transferrable across most subjects. I understand the dedication and persistence required to achive highly in exams, having worked hard for 3 A*s at A level and I would love to inspire young people to find the same joy, success and understanding with these subjects as I have found.
I offer help with everything from essay writing skills in all humanities subjects to revision techniques, as well as help with personal statements for university applications. I am able to do online teaching with great flexibility of houres as well as travel to your home whenever best works for you. I recognise the great affect the COVID-19 situation has had on learning, especially for those students in year 10 and 12 with exams next year and so I really understand how useful and needed extra help would be for these young people.
