Miss Sandhya was the teacher who made me fall in love with Economics! She is an extremely supportive teacher and her lectures have a lot of clarity. She is extremely knowledgeable.

She is a very patient and kind person who is willing to go at your pace to ensure you understand the concepts. She is always very encouraging and supportive and tries to push you to do better. She gently corrects mistakes and provides very good resources to learn more easily from - she uses videos, textbooks, question banks, etc. She answers any questions you may have and guides you to the right answers. She is one of the best and nicest teachers I have ever had!

Ms. Sandhya Jain was my highschool economics teacher in my junior year (11th grade). Over the past 2 years, I’ve had 3 different economics teachers but none have come even close to Ms. Jain. She embodies what economics is truly about. While other teachers focus on what’s the textbook, she came to every class equipped with real word examples and case studies helping me understand, not only economic theory, but also the application of the theory in the world outside. For example, to help us understand how perfect competiton works, she made us hear a podcast and videos about the radish market to learn about the characteristics of a firm in perfect competition instead of just making us read the textbook. I am a high school student, applying for my undergraduate studies this year and I can honestly say that Ms. Jain is the main reason why I have chosen to major in economics and from where my love for the subject was born.

Ms. Jain taught me economics in the 11th and 12th grade, we did IB Economics at a Higher Level. Ms. Jain is the epitome of a teacher who was willing to go the extra mile for her students. She made sure everyone in the class always understood every single topic even if she had to take extra classes outside of school hours. Her teaching style was creative and focused a lot on collaboration and discussion. Sprinkled with personal anecdotes here and there her classes were always memorable. We always left class having had fun and having learnt. Ms. Jain is one of the best teachers I have ever had in all my 18 years of life. For any student who is even slightly interested in anything related to economics, she can 100% ensure that you will love it and be amazing at it. I strongly recommend being taught by Ms. Jain at any stage in life if ever you have the opportunity to.

One of the finest Economics teachers I know who not only teach you the subject but will make you love with the subject. I not only learnt Economics from her but also started my majors in the subject due to the liking for the subject after her guidance and support. She focuses not only clearing the concepts but also the writing skills which really help you to gain higher grades in exams. I’m really thankful that I met Ms.Sandhya and she was my mentor for IB Economics and EE in Economics. I highly recommend her for Economics.

Ms. Sandhya Jain is an excellent economics teacher for everyone who’s curious to deeply understand economics. Other than her grasp of the curriculum she always encouraged me to move beyond the classroom and make an effort to grasp the realities of economics. Ms. Sandhya’s teaching style is simple and effective, she is good at clarifying doubts and delivering information in a digestible manner.

I was failing economics and was planning to drop it but with Sandhya Ma’am’s Help I ended up getting high grades consistently. She made me fall in love with economics and she explains everything so well and would entertain all my stupid questions. Sandhya ma’am has had a huge influence on my life and is honestly my favourite teacher ever.

Miss Sandhya taught me Economics for 2 years under the International Baccalaureate (IB) Program. She was undoubtedly my favourite teacher in IB. Miss Sandhya ensures that her students understand the nuances of every economic concept. Moreover, she will happily and patiently explain the same concept multiple times if a student is unable to grasp it. She uses diagrams, videos and mind maps effectively in order to make the concept clear and fun to understand. Besides being a great teacher, she is an extremely approachable person and treats her student as her friend. She brings out the best in every student - something for which I will always respect her.
