About Kerry

My name is Kerry Che, and I’m an IBDP high school student with a passion for cognitive science, medicine, and helping others succeed academically. I’ve earned top scores, including 5s in AP Biology and AP Calculus AB, and a 7 in IB Chemistry, by developing unique study techniques that simplify complex material. My experiences range from hands-on research in breast cancer genetics to volunteering at hospice care facilities, where I’ve gained a deep appreciation for life, compassion, and resilience. In addition to my academic pursuits, I’ve actively participated in competitions like FBLA and Science Olympiad, where I applied critical thinking and problem-solving in real-world scenarios. As a member of HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America), I placed 2nd at the state level in the Forensics competition, which further fueled my passion for medicine. Through these experiences, I’m committed to sharing my knowledge by offering personalized tutoring in math, biology, and chemistry.

About the lesson

I focus on simplifying complex topics using my own notes and slides, which I’ve created to be much easier to understand than traditional textbooks. As someone who just finished taking these classes, I understand the difficulties and have learned how to make it much easier to learn. These materials are concise, allowing students to grasp key concepts quickly. I also provide access to test banks, offering practice questions that mirror the style of AP exams. Having taken the AP Biology and AP Calculus AB tests last year, I can offer specific strategies for excelling on the AP exams. My unique notes and slides make learning far more efficient and straightforward than studying from dense textbooks. I know firsthand how to succeed on AP exams and can offer personalized strategies to help students boost their scores. My approach is designed to save time while enhancing comprehension and retention. My lessons are ideal for high school students preparing for Biology, Math, and Chemistry.
