About Jay

Hello! I’m Jay Prakash, Founder & Director of IB Curriculum Academy. With over 12 years of teaching experience, I specialize in guiding students from diverse international curricula—including IB DP, IB MYP, IGCSE, AP, AS & A Levels, and American & British curricula—to excel in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. My journey began after completing my B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, driven by a passion to make science not just understandable, but fascinating. Over the years, I’ve helped countless students simplify complex concepts, build strong foundations, and develop critical thinking skills essential for academic success. What makes my approach different? Engaging lessons tailored to each student’s unique needs and learning style Focus on concept clarity over rote learning, so students truly understand and apply knowledge Exam-oriented strategies using past papers, command terms & mark schemes to boost grades Proven record of students securing 7s in IB, A at A Level*, and 5s in AP, leading to admissions at top universities Teaching isn’t just my profession — it’s my passion. I believe everyone can succeed in science with the right support and mindset. If you’re looking for a dedicated, experienced, and friendly tutor to help you reach your goals, I’d love to work with you!
