About Silpa

Hey everyone, I'm Silpa, and I'm thrilled to be your online chemistry teacher. You might be wondering a bit about who I am and why I'm so passionate about sharing the world of chemistry with you. I've always been fascinated by how the world works at a fundamental level. From the moment I first saw a chemical reaction in a lab, I was hooked. Over the years, I've spent 3 years immersed in this subject, not just understanding the theories but seeing their real-world applications all around us. I've taught in traditional classrooms, mentored students one-on-one, conducted exciting experiments that blew my mind (safely, of course!). My goal as your teacher is simple: to make chemistry understandable, engaging, and even exciting for you. I know chemistry can sometimes seem daunting, full of complex formulas and abstract concepts. But I truly believe that with the right approach, anyone can grasp its principles and even find a deep appreciation for it. I want to share my knowledge because I remember what it was like to be a student, sometimes struggling with a difficult topic and then having that "aha!" moment when it finally clicked. There's nothing more rewarding than helping someone else achieve that same clarity and confidence. I'm here to break down those barriers, answer your questions, and show you how chemistry connects to everything from cooking to climate change to the devices you use every day. Ultimately, I want to empower you not just to ace your exams, but to develop critical thinking skills and curiosity about the world around you. I'm excited to embark on this learning journey with all of you!
