About Maelle

I am a dedicated guitar tutor with over 11 years of teaching experience, working with students both in-person and online. My background includes a formal degree in music, which has shaped my understanding of performance and guitar pedagogy. I believe that expressive playing is just as important as technical skill. My teaching style blends clear guidance with personalized support, ensuring every student feels understood and motivated. I focus on building strong fundamentals such as fretboard fluency, rhythmic precision, and clean technique. Music theory is also an essential part of my lessons, helping students connect ideas and play with confidence. I enjoy adapting my approach to match each learner’s goals, whether they aim to perform, compose, or simply enjoy music. Creativity is always encouraged. Over the years, I have helped students grow from complete beginners to advanced and even professional-level players. My lessons are structured but flexible, allowing space for exploration. I aim to create an environment where progress feels natural and enjoyable. If you’re ready to discover the joy of playing guitar, I would be happy to guide you on your musical journey.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is centered on helping each student grow with confidence while building strong guitar skills that last. I start by understanding their goals, whether they want to perform, pass an audition, or simply enjoy playing. I focus on correct body posture to prevent strain and improve sound quality. Mental preparation is also part of my lessons, so students learn to stay calm, focused, and ready to express themselves. I guide them through finger independence exercises that strengthen control and accuracy. For students who love fast, expressive styles or detailed fingerstyle patterns, I provide clear methods that help them progress steadily. I break down difficult techniques into simple steps. My lessons mix creativity with discipline. I teach students how to handle stage pressure so they can perform confidently in recitals or competitions. Regular feedback helps them understand what to improve without feeling overwhelmed. Every class is designed to inspire passion and steady growth. I support students at every level and help them turn their musical ideas into real playing.
