Math is fun! It is not fear! It is easy! Provided, the teacher clears every doubt in the mind of the child! But in company of other students, a child is simply unable to get any of his doubts cleared! There is this fear of asking a Q! Then there is this fear of being judged by other students in the batch! (believe me I have a track record of never asking a doubt in class ever ....) SO HOW DIFFERENT IS THIS TUTORING? Simple! Methodology in Two Words: Individual Attention One-on-One Mentoring In the field of teaching, patience is the key I come in exactly where a coaching class fails! You my dear student will get everything that a decent coaching class is supposed to give! You will get all that! Plus you get the extra edge: Individual Attention! A coaching class fails in doing this! Why? There are several students in class! They keep finishing "sessions" as per their own pace which is preset right from beginning to end! Your speed of learning does NOT matter to a coaching class! Unfortunately, as a student, by the time you realize your mistake, it's too late! Fees have been paid! Exams are approaching! You soon realize that a student cannot afford to make this mistake in an exam as important as this! I work with a student like a friend and a mentor! :-) Having aced the JEE ADVANCED myself I relate to you, I see this as my passion! Your success, my dear, is my success!

  • Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?

I was in my 7th class and it was the first time I scored 24/25 in a unit test(there were 8 in a year). I know that the exam was very easy and 5-6 out of a class of 36 students got 25/25. But I was so happy with my marks and at the same time motivated to score 25/25 in upcoming exams. and That's when it started all of a sudden I was always solving some maths riddle in my mind. and overtime i didn't realise and in 1-2 years i was known in my school for my maths.
  • What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?

I have always considered teaching as the best profession. You get to know different people, you get to help people grow and you help in shaping the next generation. And that's how we as a person grow too. It gives me immense pleasure to help students easily understand the most complex of topics.
  • How does your work help society?

Teachers are torch bearers for mankind, carrying the light of knowledge and passing it from generation to generation.
Let me reiterate that apart from scientists/researchers(most of them are themselves teachers), Teachers are the 2nd best profession that helps society.
  • If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?

My social science teacher used to say "Your freedom ends where another person's freedom starts". and since then I have always tried to understand every other person. Believe it or not, that has helped me as a teacher when you start thinking about things from other people's perspectives, you understand their situation and problems better. and that helps you solve the problems faced by students. My teacher is my role model. He is a very simple man and I want to understand students the way he does.
  • Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.

My hobbies are playing table tennis and foosball, I love to create something using coding. Recently I have developed an interest in violin, I am planning to learn that from some of the Superprofs, but I guess that I have to wait for a little.
  • Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?

It's the story of my 1st Superprof student. He was hard-working; he used to take math and physics classes with me every other weekend. I told him working hard is fine but you should not take a lot of load and enjoy yourself. and after multiple classes, I took him to track with me. He was very happy. It was the first time I saw him so happy. and after that I guess he took my advice seriously and stopped calling me for extra classes. I called to check and he told me I am working hard but also finding time to refresh myself. In an ironic way, I felt that my advice only took away a student from me. But I was very happy. and guess what he later got into IIT Delhi as well
