About Lakshay

Hello, I’m Lakshay, an undergraduate student at IIT Roorkee, and I have a strong interest in teaching Physics in a clear and structured way. I understand that many students find Physics challenging not because it is difficult, but because the fundamentals are not explained properly. My aim is to change that. I am patient, approachable, and committed to helping students feel confident in the subject. I focus on building strong conceptual understanding rather than rote learning, which helps students perform better in school and board examinations. As a student myself, I relate well to the challenges faced by school students and explain concepts in a simple, logical, and easy-to-follow manner. I maintain a professional teaching environment while keeping the classes interactive and engaging. I take my responsibility as a teacher seriously and ensure that every class is well-planned, punctual, and focused on the student’s learning goals. My objective is to create a supportive space where students can ask questions freely and develop genuine interest in Physics.

My Teaching Approach

Hello, I’m Lakshay, and I believe that Physics becomes easy and interesting when the concepts are clear and logically built. My goal as a teacher is not just to help students score better, but to help them truly understand what they are learning so they feel confident in class and exams.

Teaching Techniques and Methods

I follow a concept-first approach. Each topic is explained from the basics, using simple language, diagrams, and real-life examples wherever possible. I ensure that students understand the “why” behind every formula before applying it. Numerical problems are solved step-by-step, focusing on correct thinking rather than memorization.

I adapt my teaching pace according to the student’s level and regularly ask questions to keep the class interactive and engaging.

Structure of a Typical Class

A usual online class is structured as follows:

Quick revision of the previous topic

Clear explanation of new concepts

Worked examples and numericals

Doubt-solving and discussion

Short practice questions or homework (if required)

This structure helps in reinforcing concepts and identifying weak areas early.

As an engineering student, I explain Physics in a logical and structured manner, making difficult topics feel manageable.
