About Imerah

I would describe myself as a patient, friendly, and dedicated English tutor. I want my students to feel comfortable when learning and speaking English, even if they make mistakes. I use simple explanations, conversation practice, repetition, and interactive activities depending on the student’s level and needs. I also believe that every student learns differently, so I try to adjust my teaching style to help them understand better. Most importantly, I want to help my students improve not only their English skills but also their confidence in communicating.”

# Teaching Methods and Techniques

My teaching approach focuses on creating a positive, supportive, and interactive learning environment where students feel comfortable using English. I believe that students learn better when lessons are engaging, simple, and suited to their individual needs and learning levels.

I use a **student-centered approach** by encouraging students to actively participate in discussions, answer questions, and practice speaking instead of only listening to the teacher. I also use **demonstration and guided practice**, where I first provide examples, practice with the student, and then allow the student to apply what they have learned independently.

For vocabulary and pronunciation, I use **repetition, visual aids, and examples** to help students understand and remember new words. I also use **conversation practice and role-playing activities** based on everyday situations, such as introducing oneself, ordering food, shopping, traveling, and job interviews. These activities help students develop their confidence and practical communication skills.

I provide **gentle and constructive corrections** when students make mistakes. Instead of making them feel embarrassed, I explain the correct usage and give them opportunities to try again. I also use questions, short games, and interactive activities to maintain their attention, especially during online lessons.

Most importantly, I adjust my teaching methods according to the student's **age, English level, learning pace, and specific needs**. My goal is not only to help students improve their grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and speaking skills, but also to build their confidence in communicating in English.
