About Ben
I’m a final-year Molecular Bioengineering MEng student at Imperial College London with a strong background in Maths, Chemistry, Statistics and Science. I enjoy breaking down difficult ideas into simple, understandable steps and helping students become more confident in subjects they may initially find challenging.
My degree involves a lot of applied maths, statistics, programming and scientific problem-solving, so I’m used to approaching complex questions logically and explaining the reasoning behind them. I’m friendly, patient and happy to adapt lessons to different learning styles and goals.

I tailor each lesson to the student’s goals and current level. We’ll first identify any gaps in understanding, then work through concepts clearly with examples before applying them to exam-style questions. I focus on building confidence, problem-solving skills and a strong understanding of why methods work, rather than just memorising answers. Lessons can also be adapted around upcoming tests, homework or specific topics the student finds difficult.
