About Daanish
I am an MSc Civil Engineering student at Imperial College London and a First Class graduate from Cardiff University. Throughout my academic journey, I have developed a strong foundation in mathematics and problem-solving, which are essential skills in engineering. I am passionate about helping students build confidence in maths and reach their academic goals.
I enjoy teaching because I understand that every student learns differently, and the right support can make a big difference. My aim is to create a positive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes as part of the learning process. I focus on clear explanations, patience, and consistent practice to help students improve both their understanding and their exam results.

I offer structured and personalised maths lessons for students from KS1 up to GCSE level. Each session is tailored to the student’s ability, learning style, and academic goals. I begin by identifying areas of strength and weakness, then create a clear plan to build understanding step by step. My approach focuses on strong foundations, logical thinking, and regular practice to improve both confidence and exam performance.
Lessons are interactive and supportive, with clear explanations, worked examples, and guided problem-solving. I use past-paper questions, targeted exercises, and regular feedback to track progress and address any difficulties early. I also provide tips on revision techniques, exam strategy, and time management to help students perform at their best.
As an Imperial College MSc Civil Engineering student and a First Class graduate from Cardiff University, I have a strong mathematical background and a patient, encouraging teaching style. My aim is to make maths clear, manageable, and even enjoyable, while helping each student achieve their full potential.
