About Joanna
I am a student at Imperial College London (3rd year).
I am hoping to become a teacher post graduation, so would love to tutor anyone and am happy to accommodate any requirements and I want to improve myself too so I can provide the best learning environment.
I have a year's experience with online tutoring previously on myTutor, where I taught ~5 students in the following subjects respectively: GCSE Maths, A-level Maths, AS Physics. Throughout school I tutored younger students in Maths also.
Regarding programming my University course covers a wide range of languages (non-exhaustive: Python, Java, JS, SQL, MIPS, C) although I am most proficient in C++, MATLAB and ARM Assembly so would prefer to teach these.
I have personally achieved well in A-levels: A* Maths, A* Electronics (Where I achieved 100%), A* Physics, A Further Maths, so I know what it takes to do well in exams having personally been through it myself fairly recently.

I can teach from KS3 to University level, but will need to know exam boards/specifications so I know exactly what content needs covering.
I would say that my focus is just getting what you want out of this. If you want to just pass the exam, get 100%, or understand the topic more deeply - whatever it is that you want from this. If you have queries about certain homework/exam questions I prefer to look at them before the session so that your time doesn't get wasted on my part.
I am most comfortable with just going over content that is not understood and exam preparation as this is really the fastest way to learn, however I am happy to try and provide content lessons also.
