About Arion

Hi! I’m Arion, a passionate English tutor who loves helping students gain confidence in speaking and understanding English. I have experience helping learners improve their conversation skills, grammar, and preparation for tests like TOEFL. I focus on making lessons fun, interactive, and tailored to your goals.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy watching K-dramas, exploring new foods, and learning languages myself. I believe learning should be enjoyable, and I can’t wait to help you reach your English goals!

About the lesson

I focus on making English fun, interactive, and practical. My lessons are personalized to each student’s goals, whether you want to improve conversation, prepare for exams like TOEFL, or confidently use English in everyday situations in the U.S. I emphasize real-life English and common expressions, including slang, idioms, and cultural tips that textbooks don’t teach.
Teaching Method & Techniques:
Conversation-focused: Practice speaking naturally from the very first lesson.
Guided correction: I gently correct mistakes in grammar, pronunciation, and vocabulary while encouraging confidence.
Real-life English & slang: Learn words, phrases, and expressions that Americans actually use.
Practical exercises: Role-playing, sentence-building, and real-life scenarios like ordering food, small talk, and social situations.
Goal-oriented learning: Each session is tailored to your personal goals and progress.
Typical Lesson Plan:
Warm-up & casual chat: 5 minutes – friendly conversation to get comfortable.
Focused topic: 15–20 minutes – grammar, vocabulary, or slang/idiom usage.
Interactive practice: 15–20 minutes – conversation exercises, role-play, real-life scenarios.
Review & feedback: 5–10 minutes – summarize key points, set practice tips for the week.
What Sets Me Apart:
I teach English that people actually use in the U.S., not just textbook English.
I include slang, idioms, and cultural context so students can communicate naturally.
I’m friendly and patient, creating a comfortable space for students to speak freely.
Who My Lessons Are For:
Beginners to intermediate learners who want to speak confidently and naturally.
Students preparing for TOEFL or other English exams, with added practical English.
Anyone wanting to use English in daily life, travel, work, or social situations in the U.S.
