About Annabel
I am a native English speaker with experience tutoring English at various levels. I am currently working as an English Language Assistant in France, teaching beginner level English in primary schools. I also have experience tutoring intermediate and advanced English to adults while volunteering at University. Whether you're a beginner or an advanced speaker, I tailor my lessons to suit your needs.
I am friendly and supportive, with a clear RP British accent. I am currently trying to improve my French, so I am sympathetic to the difficulties of practicing a new language. I have a variety of interests to incorporate into lessons, such as art, music, movies, history and sport.

Depending on your level and your goals, we will discuss key areas to focus on, such as specific grammar, pronunciation or vocabulary. In our sessions, we will practice real-life conversations, role-playing common situations, and discussing topics that interest you. I start with a casual conversation and an introduction to the lesson topic, such as ordering food or discussing hobbies. Then I will introduce key vocabulary and phrases for the topic, focusing on pronunciation and grammar, followed by a short conversation or roleplay to practice the new phrases. To conclude, we will review the information covered and set a goal for the next lesson.

I have known Annabel for her whole life as I have been friends with her mother since we were both 14.
I have observed Annabel to be very hard working and conscientious. When she was at University she also acted as a Student Ambassador volunteer. She worked during her vacation as an Activity Leader for the Barracudas Activity Day Camps, teaching young children. She put time and effort into providing the kids with high quality care during the holidays.
As a Student she also took on additional courses to develop her skills like learning French.
I think Annabel would make an excellent Tutor, she would take time to understand her tutees and make sure that she helped them achieve their desired skills level.
I have no hesitation in recommending her.Annabel is a patient and kind tutor. She takes time to understand where difficulties lie and re-explains topics so that they are understandable.
