About Sylvia
I must confess, I am not officially an English teacher. I am new to this site, and saw an excellent opportunity to help people interested in speaking Spanish. I am a friendly person who loves the fact that foreign people want to learn another language. And it also happens that I'm good at talking to people. I am very patient, and do not mind explaining things over and over. I try to analyze the way that people think and understand things and focus on a more personal experience.

If you have just moved to a South American country, I'm here to help! I have been learning English since I was 5 years old, so I'm *almost* a native speaker. I have lived abroad and have been able to practice and improve my skills. I focus on improving your vocabulary and grammar, as well as pronunciation. I'm also keen on passing on useful tips that are more focused on cultural aspects of Spanish-speaking countries (as well as popular expressions and slang). I am a graphic designer, so if you work in the creative field I will be able to help you out with more specific subjects for your career. My classes are based mainly on conversation although I will probably ask you to write a few essays to improve grammar and spelling (and believe me, I'm good at grammar, so by the end of our lessons you'll probably be a better writer than most people I know). The classes are 100% focused on your needs. * For people of all ages.
