About Marcus
I am a graduate of Our Lady of Fatima University and a former member of the Kapisanang Diwa at Panitikan, where I developed a deeper appreciation for the Filipino language, literature, and effective communication. I am passionate about helping others learn and grow, and I believe that language is a valuable tool for connecting with people and expressing ideas confidently.
As a tutor, I strive to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment. I am patient, approachable, and committed to helping students progress at their own pace. I highly encourage my students to be open and ask questions whenever they need clarification, as I believe that curiosity and active participation are important parts of the learning process.

I offer Tagalog lessons for beginners, students, and anyone interested in improving their Filipino language skills. I can also provide English language support for learners who want to strengthen their communication skills.
My teaching approach focuses on clear explanations, guided practice, and practical application. Lessons are tailored to each student's level, needs, and learning goals. I use vocabulary-building activities, reading exercises, grammar discussions, pronunciation practice, and conversational activities to help students develop confidence and proficiency in using the language.
A typical lesson may include reviewing previous topics, learning new concepts, practicing through exercises and discussions, and applying what has been learned in real-life situations. Whether you are learning for school, work, travel, or personal growth, my goal is to make learning engaging, effective, and enjoyable.
