About Sean
I am a dedicated violist with extensive experience in orchestra, chamber music, and solo performance. I currently serve as President of the Philharmonic Orchestra at McLean High School and perform in one of the top ensembles of the American Youth Philharmonic Orchestras (AYPO). I was also selected to attend the Virginia Summer Residential Governor’s School for Visual and Performing Arts (Viola), a highly competitive program for talented student musicians across Virginia.
Through years of study and performance, I have developed a strong foundation in viola technique, musicianship, and ensemble playing. As a teacher, I enjoy helping students build confidence, improve their skills, and develop a lifelong appreciation for music in a supportive and encouraging environment.

I offer private viola lessons for students of all ages and skill levels, from beginners to advanced players. Lessons are tailored to each student’s needs and focus on technique, tone, intonation, music reading, and musical expression. I also provide preparation for school orchestra, youth orchestra, and audition opportunities.
My goal is to help students build confidence, improve their skills, and enjoy making music in a supportive and encouraging environment.
