About Freya

I am an ESL tutor with 8+ years of experience teaching high school and college students, dedicated to helping learners develop fluency, confidence, and academic success in English. My teaching philosophy centers on personalized learning, where each lesson is tailored to the student’s individual needs, goals, and learning style.

I combine grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, and speaking instruction with interactive exercises, discussions, and real-life examples, ensuring learning is engaging and practical. I create a supportive environment that encourages curiosity, active participation, and self-expression.

About the lesson

I teach ESL with a focus on C³P—Creativity, Communication, Compassion, and Problem-solving. Creativity is encouraged through interactive storytelling, role-playing, and project-based learning that inspires students to express themselves confidently and think independently.

Communication is emphasized through discussions, debates, and collaborative exercises that strengthen fluency, comprehension, and practical communication skills. Compassion ensures lessons are tailored to each learner’s needs, offering guidance, support, and feedback to foster motivation and confidence.

Problem-solving is integrated through scenario-based exercises, real-world applications, and analytical tasks, enabling learners to use English practically while developing critical thinking skills. I also teach related subjects such as reading comprehension, writing, and vocabulary enrichment to provide a holistic learning experience.

This methodology cultivates learners who are creative, confident, empathetic, and capable of applying English successfully in diverse contexts.
