About Lucie

I am an industry performance coach and bestselling author of The Art of Live Performance Unlocked, and Founder of Stage Ready Artists. I was named “a performance coach to follow” by LA Weekly.

With over 30 years of experience in the music industry, I have built my career on both sides of the stage. As an artist, songwriter and producer, and as a coach to thousands of performers, I bring together real industry knowledge and deep psychological insight. My work has been featured on television, and I have supported artists at every stage of their journey, from beginners to seasoned professionals.
As a recording artist, I am also known as Lazy Hammock. I have written and produced 10 albums, 11 singles and 5 EPs. Four of my tracks have reached number one in the World Chill Lounge charts, and my music has appeared on over 3,000 compilation albums, and amassed over 25 million streams. My work has been licensed to TV and major labels including Hed Kandi, Ministry of Sound, Sony BMG and EMI.

Alongside my artist career, I have spoken on panels and at events including Spotify and The Entertainment Department. I have taught at leading London music institutions including BIMM University, Point Blank Music School, Rock School and CM Sounds, delivering masterclasses and courses on performance, stage craft, songwriting, mindset and confidence.
My coaching is holistic and intuitive. Every session is tailored to the individual artist in front of me. I listen deeply, identify what is really holding you back, and guide you with practical tools, mindset strategies and performance techniques that can transform your performances.
Whether you are struggling with stage fright, self-doubt, perfectionism or comparison, or you simply want to elevate your presence and connect more powerfully with your audience, I will help you feel grounded, authentic and confident on stage.

About the lesson

Hi and welcome to my page, Before we start, please note that I deliver performance coaching and stage confidence sessions NOT Vocal Coaching. However, the formula and techniques that I have developed over 20 years have helped countless vocalists hit those hard notes, overcome their self-doubt and sing and perform more confidently. A little bit about what I do. I coach aspiring and established singers, musicians, performers and creatives to break through their fears, connect with their audiences, and unlock their true performance and creative potential, so they can release the blocks they are experiencing which are holding them back. I not only focus on the practical and technical side of performance, but also on the development of mastering mindset alongside skill set, and how it can be used to affect the overall confidence of a performer, preparing them for a career on stage. I work holistically, sensitively and intuitively with all my students and artists, placing my emphasis on nurturing and developing the person behind the performer. Always recognising the undeniable connection between mind, body, emotion and performance, shaping them into confident, successful performers, that feel balanced and grounded on stage, enabling them to deliver outstanding shows, which their audiences want to return to again and again. My sessions are tailored to each individual and can include; - Performance and stagecraft skills - Stage confidence - Developing a performer's mindset - Owning the stage - Over-riding the inner critic - How to get the best from your vocal performance - Stage presence - Techniques to help with procrastination, perfectionism and comparison to others - Setting boundaries for yourself within the industry - Overcoming stage fright - Engaging and connecting with your audience - Techniques to aid you in stepping out of your comfort zone - The importance of improvisation - Finishing projects and keeping motivated - Creative coaching - Life and career balance - Mindfulness and well-being And more… I aim for my sessions to be inspiring, thought-provoking and motivating, supporting artists to do what they love, so they can begin to truly love what they do. ------- If what I do, sounds and feels right for you, I’d love to hear from you and maybe we can start working together on your journey to becoming the artist you always knew you wanted to be, and could be. I mainly work online, however depending on my availability I occasionally open up spaces to coach performers in person. These sessions take place at a rehearsal studio in Camden, London (studio cost is included in session fee), or alternatively at a studio of your choice within Central or North London area (to be booked and paid for by the artist). To work with me in person, there is an added fee. If you aren't able to travel to London, please contact me to inquire about my travel availability and fees. I also have other packages and coaching programmes available. Please note that I DO NOT TEACH VOCALS. I am a PERFORMANCE & STAGE CONFIDENCE COACH I look forward to hearing from you.

This first lesson offered with Lucie will allow you to get to know each other and clearly specify your needs for your next lessons.

- The first session I offer is FREE and is an Artist Strategy Consultation (online) so we can meet each other and I can get to know more about you and how best I can support you. Please note that it will be 30m in length not 1hr. - In some cases I am able to offer 45m online sessions for £75 (Please enquire). - For in person sessions in London there is a fee of £100 added for 1hr and £140 for 90 mins. This includes the cost of the rehearsal studio and my travel. The studio I use is in Camden, London. If you prefer to work in another studio, it will be up to you to book and pay for it. - If you live outside London and would like an in-person session, please enquire for session and travel rates and my availability - I only offer packs of 5 sessions not 10 48hrs notice is required to cancel sessions once booked or you may be charged I look forward to hearing from you
