About Grace
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering and have spent nine years teaching programming to learners at various levels. My goal is to transform abstract coding concepts into practical, understandable, and exciting applications, while fostering critical thinking and independent problem-solving. I personalise lessons to each student’s learning style and interests, cultivating both technical skill and intellectual confidence. I emphasise experimentation, persistence, and creativity, helping learners gain autonomy and resilience alongside coding mastery. Outside teaching, I engage in software development, explore new technologies, and participate in professional programming communities. Programming is not just my profession — it is a passion, and guiding students to understand and master it is my purpose and joy.

Intermediate students progress to object-oriented programming, algorithms, data structures, and debugging. Advanced learners design full applications, optimise code efficiency, and work on collaborative coding projects. Projects, simulations, and challenges ensure practical comprehension while building problem-solving skills and confidence in applying knowledge. Through programming, students develop resilience, analytical thinking, and creativity. They learn to approach challenges logically, build efficient solutions, and translate abstract ideas into tangible applications. Programming becomes not just a technical skill, but a mindset for innovation, independence, and intellectual confidence that extends across academics and career pursuits.
