About Kara
I am a passionate French tutor with 5 years of experience guiding high school and college students towards fluency and academic achievement. Over the years, I have worked with more than 150 learners, helping them build both language proficiency and confidence. My teaching philosophy emphasises individualised learning, where lessons are crafted around each student’s goals and learning style.
My sessions include conversation-based practice, grammar simplification strategies, interactive activities, real-life role-play scenarios, and cultural insights to make learning meaningful and enjoyable. My unique skill lies in recognising learning gaps quickly and developing targeted strategies to address them effectively.
I believe that consistency and encouragement are key to mastering a new language. I maintain a positive and motivating atmosphere where students feel supported in taking risks and practising regularly. Lessons are designed to strengthen all core language skills while ensuring steady and measurable progress.
