About Tara
I am an experienced piano tutor with 17 years of teaching students from schools, colleges, and professional backgrounds. My teaching philosophy combines patience, creativity, and personalized guidance, allowing each student to progress at their own pace while developing technical proficiency, musical understanding, and expressive abilities.
I have guided students through recitals, competitions, and graded exams, helping them gain confidence and recognition for their achievements. Lessons cover technique, sight-reading, music theory, improvisation, and performance skills, tailored to the student’s level and goals.
I aim to make piano learning a fulfilling, engaging, and inspiring journey that nurtures both skill and a lifelong passion for music.

My teaching approach emphasizes compassion, communication, and positive reinforcement. I believe learning should be enjoyable and meaningful for every student. In piano lessons, I focus on both technical mastery and creative expression, using exercises that are challenging yet fun.
I encourage students to ask questions, discuss ideas, and express themselves freely. Supportiveness is central—I guide students patiently through difficulties, celebrate small victories, and help build self-confidence. I apply the same approach to other subjects I teach, such as music theory and composition.
My goal is to create an inspiring and motivating environment where students feel confident, capable, and excited to learn.
