We lead by example. As a drama teacher I am equipped to 'read' a room and behave accordingly. In my experience it has always been my authenticity which wins the day. Firm but fair, treating each individual person with respect first, as it is a modest way to earn respect. I have toured Australia except Tasmania from 2017 until 2019/early 2020...and have visited just under 300 schools. Every day was different, and everyday had different challenges on a daily basis, but one thing remains constant; we were all children once so I think back to when I was a child learning, and I take a different approach.
