About Sela

I am a professional Flute tutor with over 8 years of teaching experience, guiding School students, College students, and working professionals who want to improve their flute skills step by step. My teaching approach is clear, patient, and goal-oriented, focusing on breathing techniques, posture, finger movement, tone clarity, rhythm accuracy, and musical expression.

I ensure that each concept is well understood before moving forward. Along with flute lessons, I teach music theory, sight reading, rhythm training, scale practice, ear training, and performance preparation to support overall musical growth. I also assist students with exam preparation. My aim is to create a positive learning experience where students feel confident, motivated, and connected to music.

About the lesson

My flute teaching methodology focuses on communication, creativity, and flexibility to help students learn effectively and confidently. I explain flute techniques in simple words and use demonstrations to make concepts clear. Open communication is encouraged so students can ask questions and share difficulties freely.

Creativity is included through warm-ups, rhythm exercises, tone-building activities, and expressive music practice to keep lessons engaging. I adjust lesson pace and content based on each student’s learning speed, level, and goals. Flute lessons include breathing techniques, posture, embouchure, finger coordination, articulation, scales, rhythm, and sight reading.

Along with flute, I also teach related subjects such as music theory, note reading, rhythm training, ear training, and basic performance skills to support overall musical development.
