About Owen
I have 4 years of teaching experience and hold a Bachelor of Music. During my teaching journey, I have worked with beginners, choir members, aspiring performers, and students preparing for music school auditions. Helping every singer discover their unique voice is what motivates me every day.
One student joined my classes because singing in front of others created intense nervousness. We gradually focused on breathing techniques, vocal exercises, and small performance opportunities that built confidence step by step. A few months later, the student successfully performed a solo during a community music event with remarkable confidence.
I believe every voice has its own personality and deserves patient guidance rather than comparison with others. My lessons encourage creativity, consistent practice, and positive encouragement because steady progress leads to lasting improvement. Watching students express genuine emotion through music is one of the most rewarding experiences in my profession.
Outside teaching, I enjoy attending live concerts, exploring different vocal traditions, and arranging songs for small ensemble performances. These experiences help me introduce fresh musical ideas and practical performance advice into every lesson. I would be delighted to help you strengthen your voice, enjoy singing with confidence, and achieve your musical aspirations.

I begin by listening carefully to each student's natural voice before creating a learning plan. This helps me understand vocal strengths, areas for improvement, and personal musical goals. Every lesson is designed to develop healthy singing habits from the very beginning.
Breath control exercises form the foundation of every session because good breathing supports vocal stability. Ear training activities improve pitch recognition through practical listening and repetition. I introduce vocal warm-ups that protect the voice while preparing students for different singing styles.
Students explore pop, classical, choir, and musical theatre music according to their interests and performance goals. Harmony practice strengthens listening skills and helps learners sing confidently with other musicians. Recording sessions allow students to hear their progress and identify areas that need further improvement.
Performance confidence grows through regular stage simulations that encourage natural expression and audience connection. Learners preparing for competitions, auditions, recordings, music schools, or live performances receive personalized coaching that reflects real performance situations. Every lesson ends with practical home exercises that encourage consistent improvement and healthy vocal development.
