About Lucas

I did my Abitur at Matthias-Grünewald-Gymnasium in Tauberbischofsheim (Baden-Württemberg), with advanced courses in chemistry and physics. During my school days I already gave lessons in mathematics, physics and chemistry for the secondary level (5th-10th grade secondary school and grammar school). After graduating from high school, I began studying chemistry at the Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg. In the meantime I gained further experience as a tutor, especially in preparation for final exams for secondary school students and high school graduates. Since last year I have been designing the tutoring online, which is extremely practical because nobody has to come to a certain place and a lot of new teaching methods are available, which has a very positive effect on motivation and results.

About the lesson

My lessons take place online via Zoom, so we can see each other and interact with each other at the same time via a whiteboard. I made a conscious decision to have one-to-one supervision so that I can respond individually to the strengths and weaknesses of my students. Above all else, it is important to me to illustrate the topics to you so that you can easily understand, retain and apply them. It is important to me that you understand the context and background, so you don't have to learn anything by heart but can solve tasks from their logical context.

Perfect! Hallo! Lucas hat mich im Zeitraum September- Oktober 2020 unterstützt. Mit seiner strukturierten und aufmerksamen Art, hat er die Nachhilfe sehr gut auf meine Bedürfnisse angepasst und ist stets auf mich eingegangen. Seine Fachkompetenzen wirkten auf mich sehr umfassend, zudem kam er immer sehr gut vorbereitet in die Stunde. Insgesamt ein sehr netter Nachhilfelehrer und total empfehlenswert.

Ich habe Lucas durch das Nachhilfeportal "gostudent" kennengelernt und er konnte mir den Stoff für Mathematik wunderbar näherbringen. Mit sehr viel Geduld, Gelassenheit und einer humorvollen Art konnte er mich immer wieder dazu ermutigen bei schwierigen Aufgaben am Ball zu bleiben. Trotz meiner großen Wissenslücken waren seine Erklärungen anschaulich und er hat immer neue Wege gefunden mir den Stoff zu vermitteln, wenn ich etwas mal nicht sofort verstanden habe. Es lässt sich mit Sicherheit sagen, dass ich mir ohne Lucas wohl die Zähne am Mathe-Abitur ausgebissen hätte! Ein großes Dankeschön an dieser Stelle!
