About Connor

I am new to the teaching scene, with strong enthusiasm and young energy that will assist you in meeting your maths related goals. I was homeschooled as a child, and therefore I really appreciate the importance of providing interesting and interactive teaching methods, particularly when teaching maths, and particularly when teaching online. My efforts will be in full effect to keep the energy and pace of our lessons lively and fun, totally avoiding the onset of boredom and craziness which can ensue in online maths lessons.

I have recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree in woodland ecology and conservation. Although this isn’t a maths oriented subject, maths has always been a passion and a strength of mine, which has led me to achieve an A* at GCSE level. I am confident to teach up to GCSE level, encouraging you to reach for the highest grades possible, but also showing understanding and empathy if that is too challenging or intimidating for you, and we can just tackle the easier content for now.

Many in my life have credited me as a kind, patient, and naturally talented teacher, and I would love the opportunity to put my teaching skills to use in a way which benefits us both.

About the lesson

Whether you wish to reach for the highest grades possible in an upcoming exam, you wish to just get through with a pass mark, or you just want to improve your maths for your own personal development, my lessons are adaptable and will be planned bespoke for you! I will provide you with a repertoire of skills, tricks, and techniques that will take your mathematical abilities to the next level.

I live in the South Lakes, UK, and If we live close enough, I can provide in person lessons for improved engagement, connection, and student-tutor understanding. If, due to distance, this is not possible, I can provide an interactive and interesting online lesson structure using video links, digital pen and paper, and other suitable software and resources. I’m accessible from anywhere on the globe.

I will spend some time investigating your goals and desires related to maths, and design a bespoke lesson plan to help you achieve them. With my lessons, you choose where you want to go, you set your goals, and I get you there.
