About Zachary
I love being creative, particularly with music. Although I have a decent amount of training, I really enjoy the process of discovering new things and trying out new styles. One of my favorite things to do is called 'noodling', where I make a riff on the spot and try to devolve it from there into some coherent song fashion (it's a fun exercise!). I'm very open-minded with musical tastes, I recognize self-expression comes in many different forms and styles :)

Music is my expression from the soul, I began learning with classic music lessons and then branched off towards my own interests of acoustic, blues, jazz, rock, and borrowing aspects from genres such as bluegrass, punk rock, and country. I love the creative process, and empowering others to find that for themselves. Although I charge for my time, it is more of a formality since I genuinely enjoy helping others learn!
First few lessons will probably be spent identifying technical capabilities and personal goals related to music, including what type of music you would like to learn/perform. After that, it will become much more focused on the exercises/music I think would be a good 'challenge' to push you to expand your skills in a way that makes sense to you. I borrow my ideas from several guitar lesson books I have personally completed and concepts I feel are important for all guitar players.
