About Ahash
Hi! I’ve been a tutor in the GTA for over 10 years of experience helping students succeed in math and science.
I have a Master’s degree in Epidemiology, which means I’ve spent years working with advanced math, statistics, biology, and data analysis in real-world settings. I’m also an IB graduate and have tutored IB students through both SL and HL math, chem and Bio.

My teaching methodology is structured, personalized, and results-driven. With over fifteen years of tutoring experience and advanced training in epidemiology and statistics, I focus on building deep understanding rather than short-term memorization.
Every student learns differently, so I begin by identifying gaps in foundational knowledge and understanding how the student thinks. From there, I design lessons that are clear, logical, and tailored to their specific goals—whether that is improving grades, preparing for exams, or mastering advanced concepts.
A typical lesson includes three components:
Concept Clarity – I break down complex topics into simple, manageable steps using real-world examples where possible.
Guided Practice – We work through problems together to strengthen reasoning and problem-solving skills.
Independent Application – Students apply what they have learned with structured practice to build confidence and retention.
For exam preparation, I incorporate strategy, time management techniques, and pattern recognition to ensure students are not only prepared but efficient.
What sets me apart is that I teach students how to think. My background in mathematics, science, and real-world data analysis allows me to explain not just how something works, but why it works. This approach builds long-term academic strength, independence, and confidence.
Students can expect organized lessons, consistent feedback, and measurable progress over time.

Details
This fee includes pricing for travel time for in person tutoring as well as booking a virtual space that may be longer than an hour. This fee also includes access to my own personal learning materials that students will get access to for example practice questions from other textbooks
