About Juliana
I have always been very self-taught and have already left school, communicating at an intermediate level with little money, internet help, children's books, and school supplies. Because I really enjoy music, movies and travel and have a keen musical ear (learning to play instruments as a young man), I was very interested in singing the songs I learned to play on the guitar and also to understand the anthem of my idols. . I attended English in the Wizard for 3 years after high school, and I had the blessing to find traveling and intelligent teachers who have always encouraged me to maintain hunger for information and also to seek a little more than the books proposed . I worked in several bars, restaurants and events in Brazil and it was always the reference that everyone was looking for when the customer was a gringo, which guaranteed me more generous tips and even more encouragement to continue learning English. In 2016 I had a wonderful experience gracing the work on a cruise ship and I began to learn more about other cultures, accents and I became interested in other languages too. It's an indescribable feeling to talk in another language. And more than speaking correctly or with perfect grammar, I have found that the focus is to understand and to make yourself understood. The international experience was crucial to my evolution and opened my mind to many things. More than speaking a "clean" English, without accents or nuances, I realized that the essential thing is to respect the neighbor regardless of religion, custom or academic level. The good thing is to exchange ideas, see beautiful landscapes and hear incredible stories. It is possible to learn by yourself, but a minimum of guidance is required with those who have lived and studied. And honestly, if I can you can too.
