About Cerys
During my swimming career, I competed in multiple international and national competitions including the FFN Golden Tour Marsielle (bronze - open 200m breaststroke), TYR pro-swim series (open finals) and US & British national championships (open finals). My 100m and 200m breaststroke times were competitive and saw me consistently rank within the women's open top 10 British rankings. I had many opportunities to train alongside world-class athletes on national teams and hope that I can share the knowledge I gained with you!
My interest in sport and biomechanics led me to study Sport and Exercise Science BSc (Hons) for my undergraduate degree from which I graduated with first-class honours. I am now studying Graduate Entry Medicine. I believe that my understanding of human physiology, anatomy, biomechanics and health, coupled with my own sporting experience, will help me tailor sessions to your individual needs.

Proficiency in the pool comes from confidence and confidence is grounded in skill. With the help of constructive feedback and tailored drills, I will help you make the skills-based adjustments you need to see the biggest improvements in your swimming. I hope to provide many opportunities for small wins - the minor, yet tangible, improvements that facilitate motivation towards your final goal!
No client goal is too 'minor', everyone has to start somewhere!
I can also offer additional fitness, nutritional, strength & conditioning and mobility advice to support you towards your goals.
