My approach to teaching English is to speak and listen to you speak about a topic that one of us chooses. I believe whole-heartedly in learning languages through immersion. A typical lesson with me will look like this:
- One of us selects a topic, either by having a free discussion or reading some kind of article together and going over the vocabulary within (don't worry if you don't know what to pick to start with, I have many sources that I can pull from!)
- In articles, I'll go over any vocabulary we read that you ask me about. Free talk is similar, but is a bit faster since we're discussing freely. Don't be afraid to interrupt me to ask questions!
- For both styles, I'll gently correct any mispronunciations that come up by repeating it back to you the correct way.
- I'm willing to teach any level, but these lessons are primarily for students who are comfortable with talking and making mistakes.
