About Sara

I'm a biologist and I recently started a PhD at the University of Western Australia. I have an Italian teaching license, which has recently become mandatory for a teaching career. I have over 3 years of experience as a private teacher and University tutor, mentoring more than 10 students. All of them have significantly improved their academic performance.

About the lesson

I try to make the lessons more fun and engaging, making it easier for students to learn. Depending on the level of the student, I tend to speak only in Italian to encourage the development of oral comprehension. I ask students if there is a topic they prefer to address, especially if they are taking an Italian course and need to recover, otherwise I follow a pattern that starts from the basics and proceeds gradually towards more complex topics.

We met while practicing some sport, we even ended up abroad and performed for a huge event in Montenegro.

Sara is a great teacher. She is a lot of fun to work with, always has a smile on her face and makes every lesson very enjoyable.
She is also very kind and trustworthy.

It is always difficult to learn a new language, but from my experience if you find a teacher you love, everything gets easier.

Given the chance I would work with her again ASAP.
