About Giulia

Ciao a tutti! My name is Giulia and I am a current student at Georgetown University studying international relations, with a strong passion for learning and teaching languages.

Here, I work as a teaching assistant in the Italian department, which has solidified my experience in facilitating language learning. This role allows me to engage with students, tailor lessons, and provide valuable insights into the Italian language and culture.

Being a native speaker of Italian, and having learned English and French throughout the years, demonstrates my commitment to mastering languages. Being familiar with the learning process enables me to teach effectively, communicate clearly, and connect with students from diverse linguistic backgrounds.

Furthermore, I’m originally from Rome where I lived my whole life, but my family is from the South! While teaching, I care about bringing a rich cultural perspective. I am passionate about sharing Italian culture, traditions, and values, enriching the learning experience beyond language skills.

Teaching is not just a job for me; it's a passion. I am dedicated to inspiring students, fostering a love for languages, and nurturing a deeper appreciation for cultural diversity.
