About Emily

Graduating from the top school in NSW as School Captain, I have experience in balancing academics, extracurriculars, and hobbies and hence understand how to support students to achieve their best as an all-rounder. Throughout my HSC, I maintained a strong passion for English and I hope to share this passion with my students and make studying English an enjoyable experience. I aim to not only support my students academically as a tutor but also as a mentor to guide them through the challenges of high school.

Who are my lessons for?
My lessons are for students of all abilities who are studying English in high school.

Rates:
Please note that my rate is $100 per hour for year 10-11 students and $120 for year 12 students.

What to expect in lessons:
My lessons are tailored to each student, so the pace and course content will be unique to each student's abilities and assessment tasks. I analyse the necessary prescribed texts with students and allow them to craft their own insights before providing feedback for their writing. To offer constant support to my students, I am available outside of lessons to answer questions and mark any submitted work free of charge.

Lessons:
Lessons are typically 1 hour long, but I am happy to adjust the lesson length based on your needs and preferences.
