About Luke
I have 7 years of experience teaching bass students of different levels with one student being named "Best Bass Player" in a national competition.
My time at Christchurch Jazz school has given me a deep understanding and love of jazz which I used to tutor my school's Jazz groups to achieve two gold gradings in a national competition for the first time in the history of the school.
I am dedicated to helping my students achieve the best possible standard in performance and theory.

As a qualified classroom teacher and experienced bass tutor, I am able to blend tips on performance and practical teaching with theory. I have 7 years experience in tutoring bass as well as degrees in Jazz Performance and a formal teaching qualification.
I can teach both beginners and those more experienced players wanting to improve further.
