About Owen

My teaching approach for Guitar is centered around Motivation, Communication, Creativity, and Time Management. I believe that learning guitar should be enjoyable, inspiring, and goal-oriented. I motivate students by celebrating their progress and guiding them with patience, helping them build both skill and confidence through consistent practice. I make sure every concept is explained clearly, from basic chords to advanced improvisation and theory. I use songs, rhythm games, and real-world examples to make learning interactive and meaningful. Creativity is encouraged so students can explore their own musical expression and style. I design well-structured lessons that balance technique, theory, and performance without overwhelming students. Each class is tailored to fit individual goals and learning speed. Along with Guitar, I also teach related subjects like music theory and ear training, helping students gain a complete understanding of music.

About the lesson

I am a dedicated Guitar tutor with over 10 years of experience, specializing in teaching college students. My lessons focus on helping learners master technique, theory, improvisation, and composition through clear guidance and structured learning. I aim to make every session enjoyable and productive so students feel confident as they grow.

My teaching style is creative and student-centered. I use real songs, rhythm training, and practical exercises to make concepts easier to understand. I also include modern tools, backing tracks, and ear training to help students connect music theory with real-world playing.

I believe in motivation, open communication, and steady progress. Each lesson is designed to fit the student’s goals and pace, ensuring balance between fun and discipline. Whether you dream of performing, composing, or simply enjoying music, I’ll guide you step-by-step to reach your fullest potential on the guitar.
