About Mila

My teaching methodology centers on student-led exploration and goal-setting. I believe learning is most effective when you guide your own musical journey. Together, we focus on jam session techniques, melodic phrasing, scale-matching, and developing a strong rhythmic groove. These areas build the foundation for confident, expressive playing. Lessons are tailored to your interests and personal goals. I encourage experimentation, creative problem-solving, and emotional connection to the music you play. Students who thrive on self-direction find this approach empowering and inspiring. We break down complex concepts into simple, actionable steps that make skill-building achievable. You’ll learn to improvise, craft memorable solos, and groove naturally with others. I support creative breakthroughs by fostering an environment where ideas flow freely and mistakes become learning opportunities. Each session is designed to spark inspiration, deepen understanding, and grow your unique musical voice.

About the lesson

I’m a guitar teacher with over 10 years of experience and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Guitar Studies. I specialize in coaching adult learners, especially those returning to music after years away. I understand how intimidating it can feel to pick up the guitar again, so my lessons are always flexible, judgment-free, and tailored to your pace.

Every session focuses on self-paced progress, helping you rebuild confidence while rediscovering the joy of playing. Whether you want to revisit favorite songs, improve technique, or explore new styles, I create lessons that match your goals and interests. I believe it’s never too late to start — or to play better than ever.

My flexible scheduling makes it easy to fit music into your busy life. I provide encouragement, guidance, and strategies that make learning enjoyable and effective. Together, we’ll set achievable milestones, celebrate progress, and overcome challenges. Lessons are designed to nurture creativity, expression, and technical growth.
